Check again... Species and race are different things... Race = an archaic term for subspecies. Still nowadays, scientists dispute whether they exist within our species, but not due to the evident biological differences (genetic distances / amount of Neanderthal/Denisovan ancestry, morphological differences, adaptations to different environments/diets, immune systems, medical risks of organ/tissue or stem cell transplants and C-sections of Asian women giving birth to half-white babies, etc), but due to difficulties related to defining them and their exact number, as well as politics. In non-human populations, the only requrement is complete isolation (allopatry), which is why some non-human species can have more subspeces albeit having a similar amount of genetic diversity as humans.
